Thread Lifting

How does it work?

The thread lifting is an easy way to smooth wrinkles and tighten sagging skin without surgery.

The procedure involves inserting threads into the soft tissues which are then pulled tight, this lifting effect will be immediately visible. As a result, the face is redefined, volume restored & the effects of ageing are significantly reduced.

The second effect come later when the absorbable threads dissolve naturally. This dissolving action stimulates new collagen production which gives a longer-lasting result for up to 18 months.

Specific threads can also be used for enhancement of skin quality primarily, without any lifting effect. These threads will be a great option for improving loose skin under the eyes due to its collagen stimulating potential.

The best candidates for a thread lifting are patients aged 35 to 55 and have relatively good skin tone with a little sagging. If there is too much loose skin, then surgery may be the best option.

What are the benefits?

Thread lifting is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anaesthesia, with minimal downtime required. The threads are inserted through a tiny entry point without making an incision in the skin.

The thread itself offers a double action of lifting and rejuvenation. This will result in immediately visible lifting as well as an overall improvement of skin quality over time.

Subtle changes will be noticeable while still having a ‘natural-looking’ result.
